Executive Director
Are you looking for a career with a growth oriented company? Harmony Senior Services is seeking an experienced Executive Director for The Crossings at Hanover, the newest Senior Living community in Hanover County, Virginia offering exceptional care and service to seniors who may need assisted living or memory care. This community is scheduled to open in July 2016. This position will be filled immediately.
The licensed Executive Director candidate should have full experience and knowledge of the responsibility for the operation and management of the community and for all marketing, business and financial functions in accordance with the policies of Harmony Senior Services and Federal/State/Local laws and regulations.
Candidates must be a licensed Assisted Living Administrator in the state of Virginia and have at least 5 years of experience in the senior housing industry including:
o A passion for working with seniors
o College degree, administrator's license / certification and management experience will be required per state requirements.
o Previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision & discipline of team members
o Previous experience with managing/overseeing an assisted living facility
o Previous food and beverage, fine dining experience required
o Proven ability to manage resident relationships and committees.
o Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses
o Previous sales experience
o Ability to identify and build relationships within the local area that drives business into the community, as well as maximize revenue
o Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
o Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office & the ability to learn new applications
o Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations
o Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours

EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
