Family Nurse Practitioner Coordinator

Job Purpose:
This position provides strategic leadership for curriculum oversight and evaluation; faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation; and student-centric support for the family nurse practitioner program.

Provide leadership and management to the FNP program by:
Overseeing the development, evaluation, and revisions of the FNP program to maintain and ensure currency with professional standards, regulations, and accreditation;
Maintaining optimum student standards for admission, progression, and retention;
Developing and maintaining community and educational partnerships regionally and nationally;
Participating in college, community and national activities to enhance the visibility of the FNP program;
Providing operational and management oversight of FNP faculty workload, adjunct/part-time faculty, and budget;
Recruiting, mentoring and maintaining qualified faculty;
Coordinating FNP faculty workload;
Effectively monitoring and evaluating faculty performance and conduct annual review of FNP program faculty;
Ensure the FNP program maintains professional standards for licensure and accreditation;
Preparing FNP program reports, including reports for CCNE and NONPF;
Overseeing FNP facility agreements/contracts and documentation required for student clinical and practicum experiences;
Providing an active role in FNP student recruitment and retention;
Attending college, regional, and national meetings that are FNP program-related;
Providing strategic oversight of FNP program marketing and student admissions.
Maintain an active teaching role by:
Teaching XX courses in a fiscal year (example)
Performs other duties to support the College as assigned.
Contributes to the ongoing culture of the College by supporting its mission and values.
Consistently works collaboratively with co-workers within the department and across the campus by maintaining a positive problem solving attitude, listening and respecting the competing demands of others and working toward the best solution for the College.
Contributes to the College's commitment of safety by using safe work habits using ergonomics, proper lifting and biohazard protocol as appropriate. Attends mandatory annual training.
Education and
Experience:
An earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNP) from an accredited college/university.
Eligible for an unencumbered license as an RN (ARNP) in Maine.
Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
At least 5 years experience in an academic faculty position.
Prior program development and academic administration preferred.
Online teaching experience.

Supervision and Scheduling Demands:
Reports to the Program Director for Graduate Nursing Studies and able to work independently with nominal supervision. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Travel may be required, including potential evening and weekend hours.

Equipment:
Ability to use computer, including word processing, excel, and learning management systems.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English language.
Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
Ability to work as a functioning member of a team.
Tolerates work related stress effectively and maintains self-control/professionalism.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
