BI Computer Analyst III
Utilizes advanced knowledge of computer science and engineering principles, as well as advanced experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies, to perform the following job duties: Gather and analyze project requirements, setting client expectations and assisting in monitoring daily activities of the project team. Perform detailed level design and development of the ETL components. Customize the system and make code changes and enhancements to meet client needs. Identify and remedy issues related to new software version releases. Create test cases and perform unit testing. Perform database and table design. Perform coding of SQL stored procedures and Implement data validation requests. Assist Project Manager in analyzing reports for performance improvement. Perform code reviews and participate in release deployment and maintenance activities. Coordinate with offshore team while onsite. Assist Project Manager in providing assignments to team members based on priority and resource availability. Interact with client management and developers. Coordinate development onsite and offshore and provide expertise over the development of the system. May perform other duties normally associated with this occupation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or any related field of study that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or in any related position providing the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
In lieu of the stated primary education and experience requirements, the company will accept a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or any related field of study that provided the required skills, knowledge and abilities, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-degree experience in the job offered or in any related position providing the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
Individuals must also have demonstrable knowledge and experience with the following: Informatica, Teradata, Datawarehousing, Project Management, Rally, OBIEE, Cognos, Agile Methodology, GxP, ODS, and EDW.
Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context means substantial compatibility with stated academic level and job experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
No travel; no telecommuting. Position is project-based at various unanticipated work sites within the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each long-term project.
