JOB FUNCTION
Provide an engineering management competency that coordinates Mfg Processes with maintenance services in a high-volume/multi-division manufacturing business:
o Execute time sensitive engineering development for the organization through multi-functional teams;
o Provide technical assistance to Operations and supporting depts. as required
o Utilize expertise to make suggestions, supervise and/or implement process / product improvements and maintenance programs support.
o Establish budgetary and performance controls, coordinate with other functions of the organization.
o Develop, implement and maintain the proper documentation and control systems for all products, including an engineering change request system (ECN)
o Ability to interface with all depts. and personnel at all levels on a daily basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Supervise, develop, and establish performance goals for direct reports -coach and mentor staff to develop and utilize complementary skill sets and a synergistic group.
o Provide technical direction and administrative support for the Manufacturing Engineering Group.
o Direct and lead the efforts for process improvements, new process used in production, configuration management documentation, tooling design.
o Responsible for resolving technical issues associated with quality, testing, and production performance from an engineering standpoint.
o Work with R&D and other key personnel to transition development projects to production engineering group.
o Provide leadership to staff assigning and allocating resources to support manufacturing and continuous process improvements.
o Maintain frequent contact with functional managers to insure effective communications.
o Facilitate effective execution of new product and process initiatives.
o Provide senior management progress reports on a regular basis.
o Create partnerships with outside contractors, engineering firms, and vendors.
o Control and protect all intellectual property.
o Partner with Quality group and Senior Management to manage the Company Quality System and Lean Six-Sigma program initiatives.
o Maintain process documentation and manage change control process for engineering functions.
o Lead engineering projects, including design, implementation, evaluation and documentation.
o Manage project budgets, schedules, supply acquisitions and liaison activities
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
o BS Engineering Degree with five years of hands-on engineering with minimum 3 years of supervisor experience required.
o Proficient in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
o Strong organizational, leadership, analytical and communication skills are a must.
o Demonstrated competency in Project management skills - competent in managing multiple projects both small/large scale required.
o Development and preparation of project proposals, and annual budgets and expenses required.
o Able to successfully interface with all levels - ability to mediate, negotiate and prioritize required.
o A self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives required.
o Relevant work experience with in a manufacturing environment preferred.
o High level of technical proficiency with automated manufacturing systems, technologies and process preferred.
o Broad multi-discipline based knowledge capable of further developing companies process/product development competency preferred.
o Knowledge and practice of Intellectual Property methods and procedures desired.
o Computer proficiency, including document, spreadsheet, and knowledge of database management software - 3D Model and AutoCAD desired.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
