ABA (Behavioral Assistant)
Location:
Salem, New JerseyA Behavioral Health Assistant is currently needed to assist service recipients in meeting their personal goals and aspirations through positive behavioral interventions and support, as identified through a behavior evaluation and consequent individual service plan.
Behavioral Health Assistants may provide support to service recipients with challenges such as interpersonal relationships, social interaction, behavioral conduct, and communication skills, in the development of adaptive and effective coping skills, and the realization of educational and vocational goals.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstration of support of all outcomes for service recipients- Provide support or assistance to service recipients in accordance with Individual Care Plans- Listening to and responding to the needs of service recipients- Ensure proper documentation of all activities in accordance with Federal, State, and Local requirements- Work within a team based approach to careFinding the ideal job or opportunity isn't always an easy task.
