We're looking for team members for our Mobile Pet Vaccination Clinics throughout the greater NYC area.
This is a hourly Part-time weekend position.
Must be available to work both Sat & Sun.
Duties:
o Educating clients on preventative pet care. Ability to determine which preventatives and vaccines are best suited to their pet's lifestyle.
o Reconciling end of day vaccine certificates, bank reconciliation, heartworm testing results, restocking.
oChecking in and out, credit card, check and cash transactions.
Qualifications:
o Available to work on Saturdays and Sundays
oComfortable with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes. Ability to appropriately & safely restrain ( when necessary) fractious pets
o Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
o21 years or older with a valid drivers' license AND a good driving record
oStrong product knowledge including Heartworm Preventatives, Flea Preventatives & Vaccine Protocols. S
otrong knowledge of intestinal parasites prevention & heartworm prevention & heartworm disease in both cats & dogs
o Detail oriented with the ability to think clearly and multitask in a busy environment. Ability to perform basic math accurately
o Have strong client education & communication skills, bi-lingual skills preferred but not required
A can-do attitude and a team player!!Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
