Responsibilities:
Installs and understands microcomputer hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives.
Loads and verifies correct operation of software packages, such as operating system, word processing and spreadsheet programs.
Provides training and technical assistance to users.
Identifies and resolves hardware, software and operator problems, makes minor repairs, or refers to service personnel.
Follows a script when calling end users to help them identify spare equipment in their areas and help them follow client process to have that equipment returned to the warehouse. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
