Business Intelligence and Financial Analyst

Our growing company is looking for a professional and dynamic Business Intelligence and Financial Analyst. This fast-paced position is responsible for preparing and reporting financial statements and reports. The Business Intelligence and Financial Analyst will report to the CFO and work closely with the Accounting Staff to provide information to our branch locations.
Responsibilities:
o Designing, developing and delivering business intelligence and reporting
o Supporting existing reports and dashboards; performing necessary
o Understanding the information value and needs of the organization and team
o Bringing of and visualizing ideas to contribute to the continual advancement of the reporting infrastructure
o Converting ideas and business needs into straightforward, meaningful report designs
o Partnering with team members to understand and develop financial metrics
o Financial performance analysis
o Providing analytical support for company projects and initiatives
Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Finance, Accounting, Statistical Analysis)
o 2 - 3 years of experience in financial or accounting analysis
o 2 - 3 years of experience data analysis & reporting using BI tools such as Cognos or Crystal Reports
o Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel
o Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
o Attention to detail is a must
o Capability to communicate effectively with others throughout all levels of the organization
o Deltek and/or Cognos applications experience preferred
o SQL database design, modeling and scripting experience preferred
o HTML and Javascript experience preferred
o Limited travel may be required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
