Outsource is looking for cable technicians in the DC area. All candidates are encouraged to apply as we have immediate needs for large commercial projects.
Description
Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment
Installing CCTV and mounting monitors
Installing telecommunications equipment
Requirements
At least 3 months of experience working as a cable technician, specifically installing security cameras and telecommunications equipment.
Ownership of basic telecom tools:
Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
