A local Farmers Insurance Agency seeks a highly motivated customer service/sales rep. This person will have day to day contact with clients, prospects and insurance intermediaries both on the phone and in person. The ideal candidate will have recent work experience in selling with a proven track record of exceeding goals. Using your proven inside sales and outside sales successes of the past as your platform, you are the driven & motivated sales professional we need to connect with the right people, build strong rapport & nourish those relationships to build a solid book of business.
Daily Duties: Prospect, quote & sell new business auto, home, life and other insurance products via telemarketing, walk -in and cross-selling; Build relationships with new & existing customers; Provide excellent customer service; Conduct annual policy reviews; Serve as the local market & industry expert to help educate clients.
Requirements: Active Property & Casualty and/or Life, Accident & Sickness license (no exceptions); One year
insurance experience, prior sales, telemarketing &/or customer service experience preferred. Excellent written &/or oral communication skills; Proficient in Microsoft Office products; High School Diploma
