Swim & Water Polo Coach

Incorporated in 1965, the City of Carpinteria (pop 14,000+) is an inviting seaside community with an abundance of natural beauty and small town charm. Located in Santa Barbara County adjacent to
Highway 101, the City is located 12 miles south of Santa Barbara, CA, 12 miles north of Ventura, CA
and 80 miles north of Los Angeles, CA.
The individual will perform duties required to assist in the coaching and instruction of participants of the City's Age Group Swim Team, assist in organizing, coordinating and supervising practice sessions,
competition meets and other activities and events involving the swim team. The ideal candidate must possess CPR and American Red Cross First Aid. Water Safety Instructor certification a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The candidate must be able to obtain USA
Swimming and USA Water Polo Certification and must pass a swim test (500 yards in ten minutes or less). Possess or has the ability to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
