Basic Function
Through a hands on approach, gain insight and experience on the inner workings of our organization. Work closely with the process owners and operators to identify areas of improvement. Help analyze, measure and quantify yields all while being a part of the solution implementation team.
Responsibilities
1. Partner with process owners to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities. The Project Coordinator will perform as a liaison between the CQI department and an assigned department(s), process or site(s).
2. Assist process improvement teams to rigorously apply the Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology and achieve business results.
a. Help project sponsors create Project Definition Forms (PDF) and develop approved projects and project timelines.
b. Assist the Project Manager is coaching and guiding team members through completion of each quick hit or DMAIC project.
c. Ensure that key metrics are defined, developed, tracked and re-evaluated; and that improvements result in a positive impact for each project.
3. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
a. Provide technical and strategic leadership in meeting CQI goals and objectives.
4. Deliver clear and concise communications, meetings, presentations and/or recommendations to staff, management, executives, and peers within the organization.
5. Help ensure full engagement and commitment from the organization.
6. Help your assigned liaison department manage their dashboards and Quality Reports on a regular basis.
a. Identify trends in QA events, identify root cause and recommend solutions when appropriate
b. Analyze trends to determine areas of improvement and determine the appropriate plan of action (i.e. associate coaching, Quick Hit or DMAIC Project).

Familiarity with Microsft Excel, including the ability to reorganize tables and enter formulas. Ability to understand data presented in tables and its relationship to workflow and process. Ability to think critically to revise, modify, and improve skills in data manipulation.
Language:
(Intermediate) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math:
(Basic) Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning:
(Intermediate) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to resolve data problems utilizing independent, novel thinking. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Knowledge of word processing (Microsoft office), comprehensive knowledge of excel formulas and formatting, inventory, order processing, and Internet software.
Education/Training
Degree:
4 Year Degree
Experience
Minimum 1-2 years of general office work or technology experience. Experience in report creation, data manpulation, or frequent use of Microsoft Excel preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
