Electrical Project Manager
RealStreet Staffing is actively seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in electrical construction to support our client, a large and well established electrical contractor. This position is located in Georgetown, Delaware.
The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial projects from commencement to completion. Typical job duties include:
Manage financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
Oversee preconstruction meetings to ensure successful handoff from estimating to field
Collaborate with pre-fabrication and design departments
Set clear goals and expectations to foremen
Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
Estimate change orders for assigned projects, when necessary
Manage all job closeout procedures
Conduct post project reviews to determine areas of future improvement
Provide coaching / mentoring to foremen
Develop / maintain network of professional relationships within industry
To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will possess:
Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical construction project management
Experience managing large ($1M+) projects
Strong knowledge of NEC
Proven ability to effectively manage project cost and schedule
Ability to build strong teams - work effectively with clients, contractors and department staff.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects
OSHA certification preferred
