Payroll Specialist
Experience Required:
Two - Four years experience in payroll or human resources, preferably in a
hospital setting.
Two years experience working with Word and Excel. Good oral/written communication
skills.
Summary of Major Function
Responsible for the daily operation of the Payroll Department with overall responsibility for timely and
accurate processing of pay cycles. Responsible for preparing timely and accurate payrolls as a member of
the payroll team. The Payroll Specialist explains and interprets complex payroll information to employees
at all levels of the organization. The position also requires the use of analytical skills to identify and
address potential issues. May perform other duties as assigned.

LICENSURE REQUIRED: n/a
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent
BLS REQUIRED: n/a
CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: n/a
Schedule: 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
