Analyze client business needs to ensure OSI solution meet customer's objectives - combining industry best practices w/ Oracle products knowledge & bus. acumen. Enhance existing systems & help implement new financial systems to improve & automate financial business processes. Work independently to ID opportunities to improve efficiency & quality within financial acct & reporting areas. Leverage in-depth knowledge of best practices in Oracle PeopleSoft App Dev. Provide techno-functional support of Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Apps, PeopleSoft CRM & PeopleSoft Planning & Budgeting & interface w/ FileNet, Apropos POS, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) & all other line of Bus. Apps. Work w/ functional Bus. analysts &/or end users to troubleshoot issues, tune, test & document approved change requests for development, translating logic diagrams into program statements, deploy & implement packages & conducting research in emerging technologies. Provide subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft Financial/SCM v9.0 including GL, AM, AP, PO, AR, PC, Customer Contracts, Lease Administration functionality & system configuration. Actively engage end-users through all phases of project life cycle, ensure client satisfaction through timely communication & consistent completion of deliverables within critical timelines. Coordinate user acceptance testing, & work directly w/ end-users to manage tasks associated w/ testing. ID & document system config requirements & specs. Produce ad-hoc standard reports for various types & levels of end-users. Monitor & troubleshoot PeopleSoft App issues, configuration issues, PeopleCode issues, & program issues. Coordinating w/ other teams for Inbound/Outbound interface issues w/ PeopleSoft App. Support business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities & extensions, collaborating w/ consulting sales team & providing domain expertise. Identify, evaluate, & recommend ERP Product marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Perform coding in PeopleSoft development & reporting tools (e.g., Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, XML Publisher, QueryCrystal, workflow, Component Interfaces, Application Messaging, Integration Broker, Web Services etc.) Perform Unit Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing & Regression testing for fixes & resolutions. Provide training to controllers, business users & other teams at client's place on changed functionality. Assist in design of complex, global or strategic development projects. Identify & address interfacing functions & Apps. Maintain proficiency in programming languages, program development, testing & serve as an expert in area of responsibility. Resolving deployment issues & coordination with Operations for deploying services in production. Lead Upgrade and Implementation of ERP products and Oracle reporting products by managing Client commitments and resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, or any related business or IT major that provided the required skills and knowledge and 2 years of related experience in any related occupation that provided the required skills and abilities.
Must have a demonstrated proficiency using PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft CRM and PeopleSoft Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, Development and Reporting Tools including SQR, Crystal, PS Query and PeopleCode (programming language). Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. The term suitable, in this context, means substantially compatibility with stated job academic level and experience requirements and ability to perform job duties.
Job Site: Woodland Hills, CA
No travel & no telecommuting. Job duties are project-based & performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the United States which may require relocation.
