A day in the life of a Sales Associate in 7-Eleven entails:
Providing prompt, efficient and courteous customer service
Maintaining a clean, customer friendly environment in the store
Ringing customer sales on an electronic cash register
Receiving cash from customers and giving correct change
Performing all regular cleaning activities and other tasks that are included on
job assignments
Receiving and checking in vendor and daily fresh deliveries
Merchandise stocking and organizing of vault and store
Forecasting, ordering specific category as assigned by Manager
Experience is preferred but not required. Specific task training will be provided on one and one basis. You must also pass certification requirements available on the computer as part of the employment process.
The Sales Associate position requires the following:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers
Desire to be part of a performance-driven team
Physical Requirements
The Sales Associate position requires constant standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of one to five pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds are required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
