Ambulatory Systems Analyst

Evaluate operation of systems within ambulatory unit, both manual and automated, to consider data flow, costs, volumes, documents and reports. Define requirements for new systems/processes or improvements, write test plans to incorporate integrated processes, and ensure effective integration of new or modified system/process. Analyze problems with software applications. Coordinate testing and implementation steps. Monitor new software to identify and correct ongoing problems. Assist end-users with applications. Research and recommend new computer technology, software and hardware. Utilize experience with healthcare practice management applications.
Requires Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in management information systems or related field and one year of experience as an ambulatory systems analyst or related. Successful candidates must be able to pass an aptitude test.
