Description:

Oversee loss mitigation borrower communication team responsible for all loss mitigation borrower direct mail.

Responsible for development and implementation of new loss mitigation direct mail letters, and review and updates to existing loss mitigation direct mail letters, including content writing and eligibility triggering.

Responsible for development and implementation of quality control processes, checklists and reports to ensure daily quality control reviews for all borrower communications for accuracy and compliance.

Partner with corporate legal and compliance team on development of new and updates to existing borrower letters.

Partner with correspondence team to ensure that all letters are implemented and mailed according to loss mitigation requirements.

Oversee borrower communication compliance team that would be responsible for ensuring borrower communication compliance with CFPB, NMS, MHA, GSEs and State guidelines for Loss mitigation department.

Ensure that all borrower communications are compliant with all the relevant guidelines.

Partner with business units as required to resolve loan level escalations.

Perform quarterly review of borrower communication reports logic and letters.

Manage change control process for changes to borrower communications loss mitigation letter templates, reports, and quality control checklists.
Key Result Areas:

Ensure daily accuracy of all Loss Mitigation borrower communications through detailed checklists and control report review.

Ensure full compliance with all the relevant guidelines for all Loss Mitigation direct mail borrower communications.
Manage the data checking and testing team by organizing, recruiting, hiring, motivating and developing staff.

Multi-task and troubleshoot any issues that arise which may have multiple variables that fall outside stipulated guidelines and work closely within the department and with other departments to ensure their prompt and accurate resolution
Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree is preferred

5 years of mortgage servicing experience required.

Previous experience in managing staff required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Technical/business/legal writing and editing skills strongly preferred.

Must be proficient in all Microsoft Applications

Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion with attention to details.
