Sr Facilities Engineer

As a key member of this extraordinary team, you will be responsible for the Environmental Monitoring Program including Water Systems, AIr/Surface, facility cleaning to assure control of Bio burdens, Calibration Program and maintenance of the HVAC systems.
Overall
Responsibilities:
Sr. Facilities Engineer is responsible for the Environmental Monitoring Program which includes monitoring and maintenance of the DI Water System, monitoring the Air/Surface, facility cleaning to assure control of Bio burdens, Calibration Program, and maintenance of the HVAC systems. Also responsible for supervising Production Technicians.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Supervision Received: Often acts independently to assess and resolve issues and implementation of operational programs. Work is checked only to effectiveness of results obtained, typically requiring a long-term perspective. Virtually self-supervisory.
Responsibilities:
Inspects existing facilities to ascertain their condition and prepares reports depicting the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs, and estimated cost of repair
Responsibility for overseeing the development of predictive and preventative maintenance programs and best practices for all facility and process equipment
Assure environmental sampling and monitoring (Water, Production Solutions, Air/Surface) are performed as per established standards. Data will be statically analyzed using Control Charts.
Responsible for the Calibration Program
Developing (writing) and maintaining/updating applicable procedures
Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work
Conducts facilities/quality audits to assure ISO compliance and Continuous Improvement
Consults with architects, engineers, owners, and contractors regarding preliminary layout, construction procedures, and code requirements that apply to the building projects
Use computers and available software to maintain records and prepare technical reports
Communicate effectively with others.
Provide training, and development of the facilities maintenance staff
Perform other duties as assigned;
Skills & Knowledge:
Computer Literate; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Quality Analyst, Mini Tab
Knowledge of the engineering principles and practices of the facilities engineering service
Knowledge of the standards, codes, and regulations pertaining to the construction, and maintenance of structures and facilities
Knowledge of the development and use of contracts, estimates, and specifications
Knowledge of state, national, and local building codes and standards
Knowledge of ISO and cGMP (preferred)
Knowledge of USP (preferred)
Statistical Process Control Knowledge (preferred)
Position Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental preferred)
Five (5) to fifteen (15) years of professional engineering experience
10 Hour OSHA Card (preferred)
