Director, Programs and Facilities
Large Organization in Delaware County needs:
Director of Programs and Facilities
Residential Treatment Program
o Minimum seven (7) years management experience in substance abuse treatment and/or mental health treatment required
o Must have thorough knowledge of the regulations governing Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services and OASAS requirements or a related state oversight agency and willingness to learn OASAS regulations
Responsibilities:
administer, supervise, and direct all activities at this men's intensive residential program.
Utilizing a therapeutic community model which incorporates evidence-based practices, our facility stresses the importance of augmenting life skills in order to succeed in recovery and in the community.
responsible for ensuring the program's compliance with all state, third party, OASAS, and CARF regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
o BA/BS degree required; Master's degree preferred
o NYS Clinical Licensure or QHP status required
o LMSW/LCSW, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist preferred
Experience:
o Minimum seven (7) years management experience in substance abuse treatment and/or mental health treatment required
o Demonstrated prior success with maintaining regulatory compliance
o Documented experience maintaining and enhancing program quality and productivity
o Progressive responsibility within career with proven successes
o Experience acting as community liaison for a program(s)
Requirements:
o Must have thorough knowledge of the regulations governing Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services and OASAS requirements or a related state oversight agency and willingness to learn OASAS regulations
o Ability to perform and lead under pressure and strong interpersonal skills are required
o Flexiblility with work schedule in order to ensure adequate clinical coverage of the program is essential; must be available on an as need basis for emergency situations--24/7 on call
o Strong verbal and written communication skills; solid presentation skills required
o Firm understanding of mental health care strongly preferred
o Familiarity with EMR preferred
