Registered Nurse - Emergency

Description:72 hours per pay period - Nights, weekends, and holiday's.
Duties:
Is responsible for providing age appropriate emergent and non-emergent nursing care to all patients in the emergency department.
Must be able to function independently or as a member of a team to meet the needs of the patient.
Must possess advanced knowledge and skills in the treatment of pediatric patients, trauma patients, critically ill or injured patients, and assist the physician in all forms of medical resuscitation.
Needs to be able to prioritize patients' care, and anticipate the needs of patients. Must possess advanced assessment skills and triage skills.
As a member of the health care team, serves to meet the needs of the patient, their family and other members of the community by providing quality nursing care and emotional or spiritual support in times of crisis.
Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or the House Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Licensed in the State of Colorado. BCLS required opon hire. ACLS and PALS required within 9 months of hire.
TNCC and ENPC preferred. At least 1 year previous Emergency Department experience or 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
BSN Preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
