RN Clinical Care Coordinator (C3) - TelemetryBethesda Hospital East RN Clinical Care Coordinator (C3) - Telemetry Responsibilities to include provide direction and leadership to staff while acting as principal liaison between emergency services, surgical services, nursing, finance, physicians, utilization review and medical records to ensure appropriate bed placement is assigned, patient care needs are met and treatment plan are executed in the appropriate level.
Evaluates appropriateness of admission (patient status, level of care) for direct admits and facility transfers.
Ensures documentation accurately reflects quality of care, severity of illness and risk of mortality, to support correct coding, as well as reimbursement.
In addition the C3 appropriately escalates any cases not meeting admission criteria.
Proactively identifies as well as removes barriers that may impede department or system-wide patient flow.
Must have active Florida RN license, BLS certification required.
Three (3) years clinical experience in specialty area and previous supervisory experience are strongly preferred.
ACLS and other certification(s) may be required per unit requirements.
