Redlands Community Hospital - Redlands, California
A strong community hospital located in San Bernardino County that has 172 beds, offers excellent specialty back up, and sees 43,200 patient visits in the ED annually
A combined 30-bed ED and RME (Rapid Medical Evaluation) area that has excellent Physician and skilled Physician Extender coverage. Physician buttistants are utilized in both the ED and RME and treat both high and low acuity patients
A collegial setting that has strong Physician and PA provider relationships, and encourages its midlevel extenders to participate and be involved in various ED Committees

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
