Veterinarian's Assistant
In this very special position you will work side by side with the Vet to assist with appts, keep the flow of appts running smoothly, and prepare paperwork pre-appt, as well as assist to generate reports post-appt.
Skills required:
animal handling, esp canine restraint; excellent customer service skills, technical writing, computerized data entry, time management. This position requires a degree of independence to prioritize tasks in order to maintain flow; as well as mature communication skills to welcome strangers, quickly focus interactions on the task at hand, and maintain a warm and caring atmosphere while staying on schedule.
This position is full time at about 35 hrs per week, hours worked will be somewhat flexible, depending on the Vet's schedule, but generally M,W,F 9 am - 5 pm and T,Th noon - 8 pm.
