National Sales Manager


Amtec is seeking a National Sales Manager to work for a global leader in consumer electronics, located in Cypress, CA. This position is responsible for managing and developing the sales activities of key retail and distributor customers.

o Implements sales objectives, promotions, and programs for assigned customers
o Works closely with these customers to achieve sales goals, and maximize company profits
o Analyzes distribution patterns within the assigned territory and provides recommendations for additional target customers
o Maintains strong relationships with key customers, both current and target
o Communicates sales activity and market conditions to senior management and appropriate departments within company
o Opens key target accounts on a timely basis
o Prepares monthly reports for senior management
o Manages department staff
o Attends major trade shows, dealer and distributor shows
o Participates in account sales meetings
o Prepares new account information packages and special program requests
o Assists Credit department in resolution of chargeback claims
o Attends sales meetings as required
o Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
o A minimum of a high school diploma. College degree preferred.
o A minimum of seven year sales experience, preferably in the retail electronics industry
o Prior management experience is also required
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Strong negotiation and effective selling skills
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Ability to prioritize projects and keep them on schedule
o Willingness to travel extensivelyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
