Certified Valuation Analyst

Major Functions:
The Certified Valuation Analyst reviews/analyzes real estate appraisal reports for compliance with corporate policy standards and external regulations.

Appraisal Report Review/Analysis:
Review real estate appraisal reports for compliance with corporate policy standards and external regulations.
Evaluate the reasonableness of the appraisals.
Provide detailed quality analysis on originations and audit related valuation products for the pre-closing and post-closing Quality Control department.
Perform forensic appraisal reviews and prepare responses on repurchase requests.

Requirements:
Experienced and proficient in reviewing all types of residential appraisal reports.
Currently state certified appraiser, in good standing, with no negative industry history.
Must be able to employ proper application of valuation techniques and methodologies.
Proficient in researching market data via the Internet.
Familiar with and understand third party valuation tools.
Must be able to work in a high volume production environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Access.
Ability to fully utilize Multiple Listing Services (MLS); listing and searches to establish market value and conditions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
