Summary
The position is responsible for contract analysis and management, as well as identification and preliminary analysis of contracting opportunities for IS Strategic Sourcing and Information Services. This includes promoting application rationalization, acquisition onboarding, cost effectiveness and operational efficiency in the contracting, purchasing, and utilization and for performing other duties and responsibilities in support of the programs, activities, and staff of IS Strategic Sourcing. Primary responsibilities include contract analysis and management, application rationalization efforts such as termination or transition correspondence and new acquisition contract analysis. Will work closely with all Strategic Sourcing, Information Services, Finance and SCM teams. Will also work closely our GPO and business partners on contract management matters.
Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting all activities related to contract management.
Support contract analysis for IS Strategic Sourcing.
Supports new acquisition activities, such as contract analysis for Strategic Sourcing.
Responsible for acquisition onboard contract analysis and reporting on behalf of IS Strategic Sourcing. Helps monitors vendor performance objectives.
Responsible for implementing strategy supporting application portfolio rationalization.
Communicate effectively with IS Strategic Sourcing based executive and operations leadership to ensure that application portfolio management is progressing per timeline.
Develop and maintain contract management analysis tools and reports.
Support and manage the OSMC strategic plan for IS Strategic Sourcing contracts and monitors contract compliance.
Responsible for maintaining IS and technology solution contracts database.
Able to use database tools to analyze and identify contract and supplier management opportunities.
Collaborate with the IS Strategic Sourcing Director to establish and monitor appropriate contracting policy.
Develop implementation strategy for all new contracts. Work closely with Value Analysis and Operations & Logistics leadership as appropriate to ensure successful implementations.
Interact with GPO to utilize available analytical tools and data in support of price and contract management initiatives.
Responsible for managing contract expiration and renewals and notifying key stakeholders.
Ensure proper loading of contracted pricing and reviews for accuracy over course of contract life.
Responsible for assisting IS Strategic Sourcing Director in developing contract analysis and management strategy.
Apply and enforce procurement practices in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and accounting practices for establishing appropriate inventory management controls in conjunction with established system technical accounting bulletins (TAB) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in business, legal, or finance or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
Paralegal certification preferred.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of enterprise level strategic sourcing or experience in a healthcare setting, and 5 years total relevant contract management, as a paralegal for a transaction based practice or in corporate setting, or supply chain management experience.
Experience with contract analysis and management is strongly preferred.
Key experience highlights include: experience analyzing information services or technology solution contracts at large organization; experience in application portfolio management; experience managing supplier performance; healthcare business operations and/or financial management experience in a healthcare setting; experience standardizing complex and disparate processes within a large healthcare organization; experience in process improvement methodology, change management, and operational improvement in complex systems.
The effective use of MS Office applications is required.
Must assist and implement a contract analysis and management program supporting IS Strategic Sourcing and Information Services Procurement.
Develop relationships with key Information Services, Supply Chain, Finance, clinical and operations leadership.
Work effectively with OSCM leaders in all other functional areas to assure the appropriate integration for success.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
