Legal Assistant
We need a paralegal for our team. Great law office, great people, and a great place to live in the Brainerd lakes area. Legal research skills are required and legal experience is preferred. Wages are dependent upon your own qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities would include:
Welcoming clients at front desk and maintaining reception area.
Answering phones, directing calls and taking messages.
Screening prospective clients.
Preparing discovery and other legal documents.
Legal research.
Transcription.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word required.
Filing.
Excellent writing and proofing skills.
Miscellaneous errands as needed.
Processing of incoming mail.
Settlement demand package preparation.
Assisting clients with payment of medical bills.
Friendly, compassionate personality a must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
