Controller
Overview:
Supervise all program accounting and bookkeeping systems and personnel; to plan and perform difficult technical accounting; to prepare a variety of accounting, statistical and narrative reports; preparation of budgets and funding.
Responsibilities:
Fiscal Management: to establish, review, revise and supervise the maintenance and control of all program fiscal record keeping.
Supervise: All staff performing fiscally related functions.
Balance books, and compile reports and expenditures, accounts payable and receivables and profit and loss.
Reconcile monthly bank statements to general ledger, cash disbursement journals and cash receipts journal.
Assisting annual audits.
Preparing program budgets.
Monthly reimbursement of program funds from different funding sources.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant
Degree in Accounting or equivalent in Public, Government or Business Accounting.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Ability to supervise complex accounting systems and give recommendations.
