Responsibilities
Process titles for vehicles sold at the auction
Examine titles for accuracy and acceptance by state for which it is filed
Determine negotiability of titles and resolve title issues
Maintain knowledge of local DMV laws and regulations by state related to vehicle titles
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
Qualifications
2
years experience in Automotive/Auction industry or at Dept. of Motor Vehicles
Working knowledge of title processing and applicable state laws regarding vehicle titles
Notary seals and stamps preferred
Effective communication, problem solving and organizational skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
