Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a competent, energetic and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast growing team. This is a regular full-time position with a Monday through Friday work schedule. You must have a solid understanding and knowledge of accounting, be a quick learner and a team player. Ability to Mainstream all accounts payable functions to maximum potential.
Experience with QuickBooks and Excel = REQUIRED
Experience w/ QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions a PLUS
Responsibilities:
Experience with Accounts Payable (all aspects)
Prioritization of Accounting Transactions
Check Runs
3 Way Matching
Debit Card Reconciliation
Accounting Data Entry
Vendor Transactions
Process checks for approval
Expense Reports/Misc. Reports
Accounting Filing/File Maintenance
Accurate Record Keeping
General Clerical Duties: including but not limited to: Filing, phones, computer entry, responding to incoming inquiries, and follow up to outgoing communication.
Proper Organizational Skills with Accuracy
REQUIREMENTS:
QUICKBOOKS EXPERIENCE A MUST
1 year minimum accounting experience
10-Key
Ability to meet deadlines and be accountable for punctuality
Ability to Multi-Task, prioritize work flow
Ability and desire to work in a team environment
Efficient problem solving skills including the ability to see the big picture concepts
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel with strong computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Organizational Skills
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Experience with accounts payable for multiple entitites
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
