DUTIES:
The Emergency Department / Perioperative Services Manager at St.
Charles Health System EUR Madras is responsible for the direction of patient care activities in the assigned departments including inpatient and outpatient operating rooms, pre-surgery, PACU, central processing, and endoscopy services and float pool or resource staff.
Manages operational planning, budgeting, staffing, performance, and operation of the department in conjunction with the Chief Nursing Officer; as well as, performance and annual review of direct reports.
Consults with staff, physicians and administrative members on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met.
This position will directly supervise assigned caregivers.

Experience:
EDUCATION :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
BSN or BachelorEUR(TM)s degree in related field preferred MasterEUR(TM)s degree in related field preferred.
LICENSURES:
Current licensure with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Valid Oregon driverEUR(TM)s license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements.
Ability to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings and all SCHS worksites required
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years nursing experience required, of which 2 years should be progressively more responsible experience relating to a management role.
Experience relating to specialty area of nursing preferred (ED and/or Perioperative LICENSURES:
(ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc).
Current licensure with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Valid Oregon driverEUR(TM)s license and ability to meet SCHS driving requirements SHIFT:
Exempt management position, variable schedule 80 hours per 2 week pay period FLOATING:
Assigned departments include inpatient and outpatient operating rooms, pre-surgery, PACU, central processing, and endoscopy services as well as float pool or resource staff.

Critical Access Hospital EUR 25 beds for the entire hospital.
