Job Description
MANUFACTURING ENGINEER ASSEMBLY/EXTRUSION PROCESS
Automotive Parts.
Salary Range: $65-80K DOE. Benefits and Relocation Assistance
BASIC DUTIES:
Will Assist in the evaluation of various processes to optimize unit productivity and support production in developing, documenting, creating, and improving products and more efficient processes. As a part of the requirements of this position the engineer will evaluate opportunities to improve performance, increase yields, and minimize waste and identify and document production capability and limitations of processes. Will participates in planning and implementing new products.
Additionally will assume responsibility for projects from planning to production and parts release. Will utilize standardized techniques and processes in production and ensure production plans and processes are compliant with relevant regulations. In order to ensure distribution of compliances will maintain documentation and provide feedback when requested by various internal departments.
Will be required to assist and support other departments that includes Production, Quality, and Engineering personnel.
JOB PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS WILL INCLUDE:
Continually research and develop job duties in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure production processes are efficient and make optimal use of resources in the performance or required responsibilities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline is required. Experience with extruding processes, preferably in an automotive industry strongly preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2-5 years of extrusion experience.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR OPTIUM PERFORMANCE INCLUDE:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Technology driven.
Able to operate computer applications (Microsoft Office and engineering software).
Well organized.
Good communications skills.
Must be US Citizen or current holder of a VISA that does not require any sponsorship. A stable work history is essential.
Must Haves
BS engineering degree. Must have Assembly experience
