Responsibilities:
Purpose and Summary of position:
Safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation associated with controlling a chemical facility.
Provide training to operations on new equipment and procedures.
Assist in certification and training of other technicians.
Work directly with vendors, operations, and reliability group to resolve problems and procure equipment.
Qualifications:
Required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
5 year minimum Petrochemical or Refinery maintenance experience
AAS in Instrument Technology or Certificate of Technology
Must possess general knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, digital, distributive based control systems.
Ability to perform and lead functional check-out of process and safety interlock systems per written procedure.
Working knowledge of computer based loop drawings and P&ID's.
Ability to provide plant-wide instrument coverage on a 24-hour basis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Must be willing to work overtime when required
Must possess working knowledge of hand tools, test equipment, and personal computers.
Desirable
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Experience in process operation or process control
Nuclear Gauge Operator training
Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of environmentally hazardous substances
Electronic trade school or equivalent
Experience with root cause analysis
Experience with SAP business software

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
