District Sales Associate

Farmer Brothers has an excellent opportunity for a District Sales Associate to direct all activities required to achieve district goals, including sales and profit objectives, client service and retention. Ensures high satisfaction facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers. Responsible for setting account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and/or monthly basis. Generally focuses on local market accounts and prospects, and may be responsible for a limited number key and/or named accounts. May also assist in the development of Entry Level Sales or Route Sales Representatives. Frequently reports to a District Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:
oResponsible for sales efforts in a multi-city region
oWarehouse maintenance and oversight
oHelps resolve customer dissatisfaction and/or problems
oDelivers Management support to team and/or customers
oEvaluate sales and/or route sales representatives and provide formal and informal training delivery in appropriate areas, including: time management, prospecting, selling skills, sales strategy, product knowledge, and closing skills
oAbility to assess market, share information with team, and translate understanding to positively impact the business
oAccounts Receivable collections
oProvides Equipment Service Support
oMay perform other duties assigned
Requirements:
o3
years experience in a related customer service business-to-business field
oPrevious supervisory experience and/or demonstrated leadership skills
oInterpersonal and superior communication and business development skills
oMechanical aptitude with company hardware and software products
oAbility to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 lbs
oAbility to lift 75 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
oKnowledge of foodservice industry
oA clean and safe driving record
oMust be able to obtain and maintain DOT Certification
oBachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required
The successful candidate will be required to complete a background check (including, but not limited to, employment verification, criminal history check and education verification), a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
