We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Directors to lead our amazing teams throughout California!
Our Executive Directors are the leaders that highly influence the success of each of our communities. They are responsible for the efficient operations and overall management and direction of the day-to-day functions of their community.
POSITION
Responsibilities:
oAssume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the overall management and control of the activities and programs of the Community, its residents, its employees and financial assets.
oInterview, hire, monitor, motivate, reward, train, retain and counsel department managers in accordance with company policy.
oDevelops an administrative plan and procedures to ensure clear definition of lines of responsibility, equitable workloads and adequate supervision of all employees.
oLead daily Stand-Up meetings to communicate key issues within the Community.
oFamiliar with and responsible for implementing the Community's compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as all laws, regulations, and legal requirements governing the operation of the property. Ensures that the all policies governing the property are carried out and closely monitored.
oAssure implementation of all operating and financial controls required under company policy. Considers all expenditures within the constraints of budget. Supervises maintenance of financial records, including billing, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivables.
oResponsible for the annual budget and financial performance of the community, operating within the approved budget, meeting or exceeding established outcomes and company's targeted operating income.
oRepresent the property in dealing with outside agencies, including governmental agencies. Participate in property surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies.
oResponsible for resident census and for all requested/required Marketing reports.
oResponsible for the workplace safety including, but not limited to, active Safety Committee, adherence to all OSHA requirements, proper safety training for all employees, Injury and Illness Prevention Plan, Hazard Communications Plan, Exposure Control Plan and management of workers' compensation injuries.
oMaintain the physical property and services necessary to support the safety, health and well-being of the residents in accordance with Company policy. Assure that residents accepted are at appropriate level of care for property licensure.
oComplete all hours of state mandated continuing education yearly, and ensure management team complies with their continuing education program requirements.
oMaintain all required certifications/licensures and training as required by state law and company policy.
oDemonstrate flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.
oPerforms other duties consistent with the position as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
oCompletion of two (2) years of college and at least three (3) years' experience providing residential care to the elderly; or equivalent education and experience as approved by the Department of Social Services.
oMust obtain and maintain a valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director
oMust be at least twenty one (21) years of age
oPrefer at least five (5) years' experience of supervising and managing employees
oAble to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals
oAble to be flexible, adapt and respond to change, make decisions in stressful situations and prioritize tasks and projects.
oAble to obtain and maintain valid first aid certification and valid Food Handler's certification, as needed
oBe mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job. Good physical health, verified by a health screening, including a chest x-ray or an intradermal test result not more than 6 months prior or seven (7) days after employment

We offer a competitive rate of pay for the right person. Compensation includes base salary plus commissions. We offer great benefits for medical, dental, and vision; paid vacation, paid sick time and paid holidays.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
