Customer Service Rep

We are currently seeking for a Customer Service Representative for one of our clients in Albany, NY. Ability to present yourself professionally in all customer situations required. This is a long term opportunity for an experienced, flexible candidate.
Position Description:
Handle a large volume of inbound caller traffic
Resolve customer inquiries/concerns quickly and efficiently
Communicate plans and coverage information to a wide variety of callers
Demonstrate patience and understanding with callers
Handle follow up tasks such as mailing follow up information, faxing, emailing, etc. in a timely fashion.
Observe client confidentiality requirements with integrity
Interpret information and make decisions based on client policies and procedures.
Elevate callers to supervisors and team leads as needed.
Participate in team meetings, solicit feedback and share information with management.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
1 or more years experience in a call center or customer service role
Strong listening skills
Excellent organization skills
Ability to review, evaluate and execute complex tasks regularly
Team player mentality
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
This schedule for this position is estimated to be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, but hours may fluctuate based on client needs.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
