Lead Frame Stylist/Optician
We are seeking a compassionate employee who is friendly, efficient, and willing to work as a team player at our busy, multi-Optometrist Office. Full-time position, Monday - Friday, benefits available.
Job knowledge Requirements:
o Retail and Optician sales experience
o Inventory Management experience
o Knowledge of insurance plans, eyewear and lens materials
o Fashion sense and awareness of designer brands
o Strong basic math skills
o Basic computer skills
o Be a self-starter and problem solver
o Excellent communication skills and quality patient care
o Aptitude for quickly learning our software programs (SQL & MaximEyes)
o Not overwhelmed by a fast pace work environment
o Excellent ability to multitask
o Optical Leadership/Management skills
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
o Adjust/repair eyeglass frames
o Educate patients on lens options and frame materials
o Assist patients in selecting great fitting eyewear for their face shape, coloring, prescription, etc. Ability to offer eye care products, that solve patient's vision needs
o Take all measurements needed for proper fitting spectacles (includes use of Visioffice)
o Assist in keeping frames stocked, inventoried and clean
o Knowledge of insurance plans
o Efficient data entry skills
o Answer phones
o Schedule appointments
o Process patient payments
o Additional duties as assigned
We are willing to provide additional training for motived applicants. Our practice is service orientated and great patient care is a must!
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
