Electronic Technician

Performs a variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met. Repairs and calibrates instruments and/or adjusts unit to meet manufactures specifications.
Essential Job Responsibilities
(As a minimum, these functions are required to complete the task assignments on a daily basis. Minor functions that can be performed by others or are only needed occasionally should not be listed.)
1. Must be able to troubleshoot electronic circuits to component level.
2. Able to inspect the work of others.
3. Must be able to provide work leadership and/or train lesser skilled co-workers.
4. Prepare written reports on all jobs and make recommendation for procedural improvements when needed.
5. Operate oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies and other custom test fixtures.
6. Familiar with the use of PCs and PC applications.
7. Good soldering skills and the use of hand tools are a must.
8. Previous electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience helpful.
9. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem solving abilities are essential.
10. Good oral and written communication skills are needed.
11. Must be self motivated with the ability to work independently.
Minimum Skill Sets and Competencies
1. Typically requires an AA degree or technical education or equivalent and three to five years related experience.
2. Able to read schematics and blueprints.
3. Able to troubleshoot to component level.
4. Able to setup and calibrate instrumentsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
