Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Provides patient care. Communicates continuously with physician about patient condition. Assists physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures. Operates all equipment safely and correctly. Maintains PAR levels. Ensures the needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met. Performs other duties as assigned. This position is required to take call.
Regulatory Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or licensed vocational nursing program
Certified as a RT or LVN in the State of Texas.
RCIS or RCVT preferred.
One year experience in special procedures preferred.
Documentation of at least one (1) year year of Cardiac Cath Laboratory work experience, preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification within 90 days.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
