Senior Systems Engineer
Gastonia, North Carolina
In this hands-on role, you can look forward to project involvement throughout the entire process! As Senior Systems Engineer, you will develop mechanical and electro-mechanical actuation design solutions for aerospace and defense-related projects that meet or exceed performance and cost targets on a compressed time schedule. This will entail the coordination of work and heavy interaction with professionals from other disciplines, such as electrical and mechanical designers, software engineers, test engineers, project engineers and managers.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree (a Masters is preferred) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering, and possess 15 or more years of engineering experience. Ten or those years should emphasize work in the aerospace sector. Other requisites include control systems development, system modeling using MATLAB, aircraft utility actuation and flight-controls experience and, of course, mechanical and electrical components.
