Supervisory Social Worker: Team Leader Aurora Clinic
Supervisory The incumbent has the responsibility to provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the mental health clinic staff including social workers, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, trainees of respective disciplines, and support staff members in the Aurora CBOC Mental Health Clinic.
The incumbent provides administrative, technical and clinical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit.
Specific supervisory responsibilities include:
assigning and reviewing work of team members, approving and coordinating leave, recommending performance standards and ratings - including the assessment of competency, and enacting minor disciplinary actions.
The Supervisor/Team Leader is responsible for developing goals and assigning work to staff members as part of a coherent plan, evaluating the work performance, planning, prioritizing, and scheduling of work.
The Supervisor/Team Leader hears and resolves complaints and concerns of team members, provides consultation and administrative direction to staff, and is involved in the process of staffing and recruitment for the assigned team.
Direct Patient Care The incumbent has clinical responsibilities in additional to supervisory responsibilities.
The incumbent functions as a case manager, and provides psychotherapy for individuals, groups, couples, and families.
Participates in the CBOC MH clinic admission screening process, participates in case conferences related to treatment planning, and provides consultation to other staff members.
The incumbent maintains clinical charting, records, reports to facilitate patient care, evaluation, and research.
Makes and communicates clinical/administrative decisions to patients and staff members.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:
00 am to 4:

Candidate must be willing to work weekends, irregular work hours and extended hours.
The candidate must be willing to be placed, detailed or temporarily assigned to other related services and/or locations, if necessary.
