HVAC Designer
A successful Plumbing and HVAC contractor is now hiring a HVAC Designer. The ideal candidate can complete the HVAC design of a project, from conception to completion. This position requires design knowledge of residential projects, single family and multi-family units.
Requirements
o 3 or more years of experience in similar position
o Proficiency in AutoCAD
o Knowledge of Title 24 regulations
o Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
o BSME is desired
Skills/Other
o Ability to perform engineering calculations, load calculations and Title 24 analysis
o Complete work in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
o Properly lay out all air systems on working drawings
o Coordinate HVAC requirements with other design disciplines
o Some travel required, therefore must have a valid driver license and clean DMV
