asp DUTIES :
The incumbent cleans and makes vacant patient units as required.
Routine tasks include but are not limited to; waste removal, dusting, polishing, dust/damp mopping, cleaning of urinals, sinks, commodes, restocking supplies such as paper products, cleaning equipment used, and performing periodic maintenance checks on housekeeping equipment.
Specialized tasks include but are not limited to:
isolation cleaning, terminal unit cleaning, performing aseptic cleaning techniques, and sterile room techniques.
Other specialized cleaning consists of tiled floor refinishing, carpet cleaning and cleaning of terrazzo finishes.
Incumbent must be familiar with infection control techniques for maintaining an aseptically clean and aesthetically pleasing environment.
Work Schedule:
Schedules vary-40hr/week, including week days/nights, weekends, holidays Position Description Title/PD#:
Housekeeping Aid, PD#3576A/3575A Promotion Potential:
The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
