Assistant Branch Manager

Career Connections is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for a financial institution in Athens, Ohio. The assistant branch manager represents the bank in the community and develops and promotes new business. Duties will be to oversee and assist with daily operations including:
staff training, scheduling, and management; monthly reporting; assisting with loan applications and credit extensions; customer service; and related duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, temp-to-direct opportunity hiring immediately. The schedule will be Monday-Friday, with varied shifts between 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., though some Saturday hours can be expected. The pay will be commensurate with experience but in the range of $28-32K/year, and this company offers comprehensive benefits upon permanent hire.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have at significant experience in a supervisory role and have proven experience in customer acquisition. Must possess knowledge of consumer lending with a history of demonstrated loan growth. Those with an ability to structure complex deals and prepare underwriting analysis preferred. Prior customer service experience and computer proficiency required. Those with demonstrated decision making and problem solving skills preferred. Must be able to work well independently but be able to cooperate in a team environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
