Job Description/
Summary:


Cobalt is currently seeking a highly qualified program manager with strong program management and business development skills.

The individual will be responsible for day to day operational for Cobalt's current aviation and ISR programs as well as business development, corporate decision-making, and long-range planning.

The individual will provide program management for multiple programs across; managing all areas of program execution including staffing, subcontractor relationships, financial management, reporting, and customer relationships.

The individual will develop annual business development plans and prioritized engagement plans across multiple business units servicing aviation, C4ISR, electronic warfare, flight operations, legacy aircraft sustainment, and aerospace engineering sectors. The individual will contribute to corporate business development including opportunity identification and evaluation, bid/no-bid decisions, competitive analysis, proposal process, and color team reviews.

The individual will be responsible for customer relations at all levels ranging from operational/technical to senior leadership for multiple DoD and commercial customers.


Required Education / Training / Experience

BS/BA in related field, MBA or MS in related field preferred (desired)

10 years
directly related professional experience. At least 7 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership or program management of DoD programs. (required)

Strong business development and relationship building skills with an established professional network inside DoD specifically related to flight operations, C4ISR, electronic warfare, and information operations. (required)

Experience with all aspects of DoD contractor flight operations. (required)

Recent MAJCOM level staff experience specifically related to requirements, acquisition or programming (PPBE). (desired)

Demonstrated capability leading successful business development efforts including opportunity identification and evaluation, competitive analysis, and proposal development process. (required)

DAU Acquisition Management Level I/II Certification or commercial equivalent. (desired)

Must be able to acquire US Government TS/SCI security clearance. (required)

Compensation negotiable based on qualifications & experience.
