Behavioral Therapist (Spanish or Vietnamese Speaking Preferred)

Role/Responsibility: BHW offers three levels of the behavioral therapist positions based on the candidates level of education and experience in the field. The specific role of the behavioral therapist is to provide direct intervention to individuals with or at-risk for developmental delays or disorders. Experienced behavioral therapists also provide parent consultation to families.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of child development, special education, psychology, or related field is preferred. A minimum of six months experience working with children (with special needs, especially autism) is preferred.
Previous work experience with ABA, DTT, PRT, PECS, and autism is a preferred.Bilingual Spanish and Vietnamese is a PLUS.
Valid CPR certification.
Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance, health screenings and provide/obtain immunizations.
Work Hours:
Part-time and full-time employees with benefits, depending on hours worked per week.
8:00 a.m. -- 8:00 p.m., Monday -- Sunday shifts available. Note that you must be regularly available to work during our high demand hours of 2pm-8pm.
Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week to be considered.
Bilingual Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
