Job
Responsibilities:
o The Emergency Department RN provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of Florida Hospital Waterman.
o The ED RN Serves as the primary coordinator for the well-coordinated patient care.
o Assesses, plans and evaluates patient care needs.
o Prioritizes patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
o Assists physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
o Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
o Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with team members.
o Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
o Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Work Hours/Shifts:
Full Time, Days or Nights
What will you need?
o Florida RN license or the ability to obtain a FL license at the time of start date.
o Basic Life Support (Accredited through American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
o
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience is required
o Education: BSN preferred
