Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician in Newnan, GA.
The Maintenance Technician (1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts) will perform preventative maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required in order to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety. A very important part is to repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work. This position requires a flexible work schedule, which includes weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Must have experience with presses, conveyors, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication.
Must have experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using various tools and computers.
Must have experience troubleshooting, repairing and working with electrical PLC's, A/C, D/D motors, drive controls and systems and CNC repair.
Assist fellow mechanics and technicians as required to perform Preventative Maintenance and work overloads to assure equipment maintenance requirements are performed on a timely basis.
Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
Advance experience with HVAC and crane/ hoist repair.
Prior experience with Predictive and Corrective maintenance.
Repairing critical equipment, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and completing projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades.

Constant reminder of safety in all aspects of operations.
Average working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge.
Experience with advanced PLC, and/or robotics, and/or CNC repair.
Education:
High School Diploma, Technical Certification, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must have at least 5 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment or graduate of a mechanical apprenticeship program.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
