To transcribe orders, answer telephones and assist with admissions and discharges.
Nonexempt (Hourly - Eligible for overtime)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GED required.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLSAssist clinical staff with phone calls Work orders when indicate for workstations, copiers, printers, medical supplies.
Assign, manage, and troubleshoot Nurse Call pages and SpectraLink phones Models behaviors congruent with Patient Promise Monitor new orders and results and communicate to clinical staff Obtain and return medications needed to care for patients Order medical and office supplies as well as educational material.
Restock medication, supply, and nourishment rooms and isolation carts.
Maintain any forms staying on the paper chart Bed management assistance Notify consultants of the need to see a patient by managing consult system lists in EPIC Performance improvement chart audits for compliance; maintains logs and speadsheets as needed Procedure scheduling Responsible for downtime charts, downtime material supplies and downtime report printing Manage census boards Manage the desk area answering phones, call lights, paging, visitors, and transport Assist with discharge phone calls and patient follow up as directed Charge entry and checking for charge accuracyOther Requirements CONTACTSNeonate:
